Talk about your assetsDelivery
From shoot to final delivery, we help teams define the handoff. What format? What size? Where does it live? Who approves it? We document the answers so the process repeats cleanly.

We help businesses set up cloud storage that marketing, product, and leadership can actually navigate — without hunting through unnamed folders or emailing files back and forth.

The photos exist. They just live in twelve different places, named inconsistently, in the wrong formats, with no clear owner.
Signal & Grain helps you fix that — whether it's a one-time audit and reorganization, or building the infrastructure to prevent the problem from happening again.
Common questions
Most companies never build a system — they accumulate files reactively. A shoot happens, the images go to whoever asked for them, and six months later no one can find the original files when they need an update.
The problem compounds: different teams use different storage, files get renamed inconsistently, and the 'final' version becomes a mystery. Building a DAM strategy early is significantly cheaper than untangling a years-long mess.
Not always. For smaller teams, a well-structured cloud storage setup — Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar — with enforced naming conventions and folder logic is often sufficient.
Purpose-built DAM tools like Bynder, Canto, or Brandfolder make sense at scale or when you need advanced metadata search, rights management, or multi-brand control. We can help you evaluate the right tier for where you are now.
A useful convention includes: the subject or SKU identifier, the date or version, the variant (color, size, etc.), and the view angle or use case. Example: PRODUCT-SKU123_2024-Q2_BLK_hero.jpg. Avoid spaces, special characters, and vague names like 'final_v3_FINAL.jpg'.
